FAIL TO COMPLY, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on May 2, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with release order and possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged on May 1, 2024, the youth was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in his residence between specific hours. On May 2, 2024, police were dispatched to a bail violation call and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on May 1, 2024, the youth violated his release order and was additionally in possession of stolen property. On May 2, 2024, the youth was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.  

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Taylor Wilkinson, 38, of Kingston, was arrested on May 2, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on April 4, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 2, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on June 13, 2024.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Sky Roach, 21, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 2, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on April 9, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 2, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on June 13, 2024.

SHOPLIFTING, OBSTRUCT PEACE OFFICER

Cornwall, ON – Kaylee Mallett-Lefave, 32, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 2, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000 and obstruct peace officer. It is alleged on May 2, 2024, the woman attended a Water Street business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, and while being taken into custody, allegedly gave police false information. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 14, 2024.
